Emerest Connect is a healthcare organization focused on leveraging data to drive value-based care, improve patient outcomes, and optimize operations. We are looking for a skilled professional to lead our data analytics team, oversee Power BI development, and bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Position Overview
The Lead Data Analyst & BI Team Leader will manage the analytics team, lead complex data projects, and deliver advanced Power BI solutions to support value-based care initiatives. The role requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
· Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the data team, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to best practices in analytics and reporting.
· BI Development: Lead the design, development, and optimization of Power BI dashboards, focusing on value-based care metrics and business goals.
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary interface between the analytics team and business stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements and ensuring timely delivery of insights.
· Project Management: Oversee analytics projects, define priorities, and manage timelines to align with organizational goals.
· Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA.
· Performance Analysis: Drive analysis of trends and metrics to support strategic decision-making and value-based care initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
· 8+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence roles.
· Expertise in Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
· Proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques.
· Proven leadership experience managing analytics teams or complex projects.
· Strong understanding of value-based care metrics (e.g., HEDIS, MIPS, shared savings).
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to business stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively.
Preferred:
· Experience with AWS and Power BI.
· Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
· Advanced knowledge of healthcare analytics or financial performance modeling.
